This week’s Monday Mindset is for every mom bracing for the whirlwind of back-to-school season... the papers, the schedules, the sports practices, the 17 back-to-school emails… and the emotional rollercoaster of watching your babies grow up way too fast.
Whether you’re clinging to the last days of summer or counting down to routine and quiet coffee, this episode is your invitation to shift how you respond to change… with less resistance and more intention.
We’re anchoring this week’s reset with one powerful Chinese proverb:
💭 “When the winds of change blow, some people build walls… and others build windmills.”
In today’s episode, I’m diving into:✔️ What to do when change feels like too much too fast✔️ How to stop resisting the chaos and start using it to your advantage✔️ Real-life examples of setting boundaries, letting go of perfection, and building support✔️ How to know which expectations are worth holding—and which you can release✔️ Why adapting with grace doesn’t mean giving up—it means getting smarter
💛 This Week’s Mindset Challenge:
✅ Ask yourself: Where am I building walls right now?Is it in your schedule? Your relationships? Your mindset?
✅ Then ask: What would it look like to build a windmill instead?Could you shift your routine? Release an expectation? Ask for help? Set a boundary?
✅ Extra credit: Revisit Episode 125 (Build Your Village) and Episode 238 (Glass vs. Rubber Balls) to help support you as you ride the winds of this season.
